When I first met with Sam and Mark and started to discuss the vision that they had for their wedding day, I was instantly connected to Sam’s desire to incorporate sunflowers through so many elements of their design. They were the perfect complement to their late spring wedding at a fun and unique venue.
Sam and Mark chose The Museum of Life and Science as their backdrop for their wedding day. They were attracted to the intimate space that the onsite butterfly garden provided as well as giving them a garden feel in the middle of a museum.
They chose to incorporate a ‘first look’ moment before their ceremony which allowed for so many gorgeous photos throughout the venue.
The glass from the outside of the butterfly house couldn’t be any more spectacular as a backdrop for their ceremony filled with so much love and laughter.
After Sam and Mark said, “I DO”, they joined their guests in an interactive cocktail hour taking place both inside and outside the butterfly house. Live music took place outside for guests to enjoy some light entertainment and fresh air while a small “petting zoo” took place inside showcasing a few of the museum’s unique and adorable critters.
At the completion of cocktail hour, guests made their way over to the main museum for an indoor celebration as the sunset. The museum’s exhibits were open for exploration bringing an added bonus to their event.
Guests enjoyed dinner and dancing as they celebrated the new Mr. and Mrs.
Right as Sam arrived at the venue to prepare to marry her groom, I was able to experience a special moment with her sharing in the joy that she was feeling on her wedding day. I really felt the friendship built during months of planning details with my client, and it was the sweetest moment to get to get experience the excitement with this beautiful bride!
It was such a treat to watch the bride and groom enjoy all the moments of their special day surrounded by so many of their favorite people.
